The Individual
|
Part One of the programme unfolds an integrated and holistic model of the individual person. Each topic builds on and complements the others.
Notably, Spectrum Theory explains how a multilevelled, emergent model of the mind gives rise to its dynamics, psychological needs, drives, and to a new understanding of arousal and consciousness states. The nature of thought and language is a consequence of these dynamics. The programme leads to a view of the ideal human who is reflective, can adopt multiple perspectives and is able to continuously develop.
